US fast food restaurant chain McDonald’s has dismissed its ‘director of McDonald’s Denmark’.
Kristian Scheef Madsen, who held the post for 20 years, has been replaced by the Australian Stephen Shillington.
The move took place earlier this summer, but was kept quiet, writes Dagbladet Børsen. Shillington has been appointed to try and rectify the burger chain’s worsening reputation in Denmark.
Madsen was allegedly fired due to his poor chemistry with the McDonald’s board. Shillington has just moved to Denmark from Australia and is reported to be settling into his new post.
