Learning Danish
They say learning Danish is one of the hardest languages to learn! But is that a myth or a distinct reality? Learning any new language can be an uphill struggle but luckily scientific research shows it’s the best way to keep your brain in peak condition. So if it’s good for the brain how much of a workout is it to learn Danish?

The Danish language, like English, is largely based on Latin
There are 29 letters in the Danish alphabet Danish (Dansk) is one of the North Germanic languages (also called Scandinavian languages)
The language is also used by the 50,000 Danes in the northern part of Germany, where it holds the status of a minority language
If you want to pronounce a Danish word that is hard try saying..... "speciallægepraksisplanlægningsstabiliseringsperiode" and yes that is an actual word!
Starting Danish lessons
Danish is taught at several universities around the world.
There are also a number of private or public organisations that offer lessons in Danish at different levels.
There are plenty of opportunities to learn Danish in Denmark and all types of courses are available to you for free if you have a CPR number or a work contract.
