COP15.dk was the Danish government's host country website for the UN Climate Change Conference 2009 (COP15) in Copenhagen, Denmark, December 7-18, 2009.
The web page had 4 million visitors from February to December 2009, of which 1.65 million visited the website during the conference. On the busiest day, approximately 200,000 users visited COP15.dk. Thousands of visitors also viewed the webcast from COP15.
The website featured news coverage, blogs, background material and more, and allowed visitors to send "Climate Greetings" to COP15, which were shown on large screens at the conference and at various outdoor venues in Denmark. More than 15,000 Climate Greetings were received from around the world.
In addition to COP15.dk, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark maintained a significant presence on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube for COP15. On Facebook, COP15 had more than 42,000 fans, on Twitter, COP15 had more than 13,000 followers, and on YouTube, COP15 had more than 5.2 million channel views between September 22 and December 20, 2009.
