In relation to the organization of COP15 in Copenhagen, a series of cultural and political side-events was held. Everything from children's conferences and sustainable initiatives to art installations was going on in Copenhagen, as well as in the rest of Denmark.

The YouTube channel " Raise your voice ", created as a collaboration between the Government of Denmark and Google, attracted thousands of contributions from all over the world. Also, Google and Denmark created climate change visualization layers for Google Earth .
