Danish architecture has a long and fine history and world famous architectural buildings can be seen right across the globe. From the iconic Sydney Opera House designed by Jørn Utzon to this year's world's best residential house designed by Bjarke Ingels for '8 House' in Copenhagen.

During the 1990s, Danish architecture increasingly focused on Neo-Modernism and issues surrounding sustainability. A good example of this is Terminal 3 at Copehagnen International Airport. Today these beliefs are still highly valued in Danish architecture.
